Unlike large street shops where clients often choose designs off the wall, Four Leaf Studios was created to provide a more intimate and personal tattoo experience. Our artists work closely with each client to design custom tattoos that reflect their ideas, style, and story.

Our Story
Four Leaf Studios was founded with the goal of creating a different kind of tattoo experience in Richmond, Kentucky—one that focuses on artistry, collaboration, and a more personal connection between artist and client.
Owner and artist Daryl "Lucky" Shorter wanted to move away from the fast‑paced, “pick‑a‑design‑off‑the‑wall” tattoo shop environment and instead build a studio where clients could feel comfortable discussing their ideas and working directly with the artist to create something truly unique.
To help create that atmosphere, the studio features a private tattoo booth, allowing clients to enjoy a more relaxed and personal setting during their session. This setup gives artists the space to focus on their work while giving clients a more comfortable and private experience.
Today, Four Leaf Studios continues to be a place where creativity and craftsmanship come together, with every tattoo treated as a lasting piece of art and a meaningful part of the client’s story.
